To celebrate mid October I ate my first mince pie of the year today!  It must be the beginning of the end (of the year!!) !!

Was no ordinary mince pie, was a very buttery, sugary, deep filled with lots of mince meat mince pie.  It had a little hole on the top & crusted with white snowy sugar.... I could go on.. & on...

If you remember the deliciousness of the mince pies Amato, Old Compton Street used to make at the hands of Daniel master of everything naughty but very extremely nice... then these are just the same!! Probably because Family Cakes is the now the proud owner of Daniel & Vincenzo who were as I mentioned perpetrators of the best of the best of the naughtiest but nice !!

Question is, what will  I be eating in December?
